ROM updates for the 3900 Series are now available.
Please be aware that there are two ROM updates for the 3900 series, One for 3950-55 (non bluetooth) and 3970-75 (Bluetooth).

Choose wisely.

English version of the ROM update was pulled. Only the German version is available ...no word yet on why it was pulled.

From HP's website

iPAQ H3950 and H3955 Pocket PC ROM Update
version 1.10 (16 Jan 03)

Shortly after releasing the English, French and German version 1.10 ROM Updates on hp.com, an error was discovered in the update. As a result, the SoftPaqs have been removed from the download page. The cause of the error is being investigated. New SoftPaqs will be posted to hp.com as soon as the problem is resolved.

Cause of the problem ...once the ROM is updated, it will run the Xscale processor 400MHz down to 300Mhz. Oh well, I'm glad I forgot to update when it came out.
