Analog or Digital clock on PPC
Did you know that if you tap and hold the clock just beside the volume control , you can change it either analog or digital.
How to use one handed operation
If you want one handed operation when you are scrolling in you're PPC with the 4 buttons and D-Pad, decide which button is useless to you then, go Start-Setting-Buttons-And change one of the button assignment, lets say the home button and change it to <start menu>. Shut you're PPC and try pushing the home button.The start menu would come down and from there you can go anywhere between applications,programs,settings,help,and even Search. This is help full if you are sick of getting you're style from its silo.
Using Shortcut at "Programs"
If you want to rearrange you're shortcut at Programs...lats say you want the Today or Memory settings shortcut from the Settings tab to be at Programs tab , go to start-file explorer-windows-shortcuts-system-choose the shortcut you want and copy it and then go to Windows-Startmenu-and paste it in the programs folder. This is great if you want you're Programs tab to be clean and arrange nicely aseptically the games folder where's not all games would be put in there.
Backup you're PIM without SD or CF card.
You can backup all you're PIM in the Axim 5.61mb of memory from crashes or hard reset. You can locate the 5.61mb at the Memory settings at the Storage card tab. But you can only backup you're PIM not all of you're data.
Change default Home Page on PIE
You can change you're default Home page on PIE only if you are connected. When you are connected and lats say you want googel to be you're homepage. Go to google.com on PIE and then go to Tools-Option-and tap the 'use current' tab. It would automatically go to googel.com ones you connected
Installing application on CF Card or SD card
You can install applications and programs in the CF card by, run the installation of the application - when you have done that, Activesync would pop out and said "Would you like to install the application in the default folder?". Tap "No" and then another pop out window would show up and at there it would show you how many program memory left and the memory needed to install the program, but just up it, is where you can choose where you want to install the application .
Deleting useless file that can't be deleted on SD or CF card
My experience with a file that can't be deleted is a 57mb of useless file that can't be deleted out of 128mb from my Sandisk CF card. When I try to delete it , it said " The File is in Rom" or make sure you have sufficient memory". All I done is download a application call Flashformat . It would delete all my file on my CF card, much more like hard resetting a PPC.But like a hard reset, you would lose all application in you're CF card. But it's worth it ones a useless file takes half of you're memory card. It can be used for SD and CF card.
Don't know how to write a path?
If a program wants you to write a path for it to load the file aseptically programs for managing themes. Tap the section where you should write the path , lats say the folder where a theme is located is named "123" and it is in the CF folder , type /cf card/123. From there you can access the themes in the application.
