REVIEW: Belkin Wireless Keyboard

FIRST OF ALL. UPDATE
Belkin made good on their promise and i was sent a working model; i have absolutely no problems with it. Very cool. I didn't even have to ship (or pay for any shipping)!
SECONDLY - IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS:
DO NOT SEND UNIT BACK. First get the new drivers off belkin's website. and yes reinstalling the new version is a pain in the ### so make sure you unistall the old drivers beforehand. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK: Seriously call Belkin for a replacement, if at all possible. The Belking ppl didn't keep me on hold as long as Dell does, and they were really nice in sending a fully functioning keyboard. It did take a week or two to come tho, but that's not too bad.
** one last word of advice **
Really. Don't try to rotate the screen; besides, there's really no reason to anyway.

Anything else? i'd be glad to share my experiences!

@alanhogan: you are right: it's good to updare, find out if there are new drivers in the Belkin web site. But what I was saying is that probably BELKIN WIRELESS KEYB with DELL AXIM X5 & Windows Mobile 2003 DOESN'T WORK! I read about three people (one in this forum) that had the same problems I encountered using my keyb with X5 & Pocket PC 2003. So, I was asking if there is someone else who has tested the keyb with X5 and, above all, Pocket PC 2003. Bye.

darkmage: Yes, you're having problems and yes, part of it is/was b/c you were using WM2003 (aka PPC2003). BUT if you have 1. the latest ROM and 2. The latest drivers, then THE PROBLEM IS MOST LIKELY A HARDWARE ISSUE. (Note that it works for me, and i'm using WM2003 on an Axim X5 (!) ) Call Belkin tech support. I was having problems like yours; they sent me a new keyboard and it works wonderfully.
About the other ppl in this thread with similar difficulties, their problems all seem to have been fixed by a new unit (even on the third try). (!)
This is especially obvious if some but not all of the buttons work. In my case, the application buttons on the left of the keyboard were the only things that worked. (!) This indicates that the problem is the keyboard hardware itself.

(!) One more time for anyone who missed it, IF YOUR BELKIN KEYBOARD IS NOT WORKING :angry2: :
1. Get latest drivers from BELKIN.COM
2. Get latest ROM for your Axim from DELL.COM
3. Call Belkin for a NEW UNIT
and you're good as new (or hopefully, better than new!) :music:

The other day I dropped my Belkin wireless universal keyboard and it "broke". (I know, I can be a klutz.) The two sides were only held together by a data ribbon. But not to fear! Reassembly was literally a snap; I only had to push the two sides back into the metal middle part. It's good as new, and I'm typing this post on it now. Whew!
