Concept:
We all hate our stylus that comes with the X5, right? That strangely-shaped, much too light, plastic thing that looks like it is made of metal! Well, PDA Panache has answered our prayers with an amazingly comfortable, and highly usable stylus upgrade for our Axim X5s.



Design:
The black stylus that I've been has a hexagonal shape through and through. It has a hex-nut head top that is very easy to grab with your finger or fingernail. The tip is a bright orange, and is extremely easy to distinguish. It uses PDA Panache's EasyView tip so that it doesn't scratch your screen. Of course, having a screen protector is always a good idea! Being made of all metal, this stylus is awesome. As soon as you pick it up, it feels like you actually have something in your hand. Using your Axim has never felt more real!

Conclusion:
For $16.95, I think the PDA Panache stylus upgrade for the X5 is a must have. Why bother with Dell's "strange" stylus, when you can have a nice, all-metal work of art!

i bought both the black and the chrome, but i got the chrome with the black tip
(i use the chrome i think it looks cooler) but i agree its definately a must have product.

My standard issue Dell Axim X5 stylus is aluminum. That's why it's light. Just a thought.

Does it fit in the holder or do you have to stow it somewhere else? I was looking at that as a replacement for my X3i but wasn't too sure if I could put it in the built-in stylus holder or not.

Does it fit in the silo?

If it does, then I'm guessing it'll fit in the X3i's silo too?
