Considering Dell BT GPS unit

I am hoping to get an Axim x51v soon, my x5 is fine and I love it but...
Anyway I am thinking about the Dell GPS (BT) because they are currently offering a pretty good deal on a unit with that bundled in. My concern is I have heard of problems in this area. I am wondering if most of these are issues with compatibility of 3rd party hardware or software? Would I be better off going with a wired unit? Comments and suggestions from those with more knowledge than myself, (that's just about anyone) are eagerly anticipated.

Go for it...It's a sweet deal and it works great. Never experienced tough problems with it. Use it with tom-tom (instead of the provided software)...Only bad thing is the car holder. Mine broke and had to ask for a replacement from dell (they were nice and exchanged it)

GPS is sweet. There are issues, but they are not unique to the Dell unit. Thick folliage, tall buildings, thick cloud cover, and even the type of glass in your car can interfere with satellite signal reception. I have no experience with the auto glass problem. The others are rare intermittent annoyances, that would not stop me from buying the Dell package again if, heaven forbid, mine diappeared. I love GPS. The only con to the Dell GPS that I've discovered so far is that you cannot generate maps from it on your PC while you can with some competitors.
