Can I use my Delorme USB GPS with Axim X5?

I just got my X5 used. I have a Sony Clie that has an adapter to use my Delorme USB Earthmate. I haven't seen such a thing for the Axim. Is there a way to connect the Delorme to the Axim?
If not, what is a good CF GPS with external antenna port (but not too expensive)?
