Delorme

Has anyone used or purchased the Delorme Earthmate GPS? It's a USB GPS device designed for laptops, little yellow box, and it is highly suggested by TechTV. An available accessory is a Dell Axim cable with car adapter. The total package price for the GPS ($130) and the Axim cable ($50) is only $180. I'm drooling over the possibilities with this one. :blink:

Yes I have one connected to my X3. Works fine. I use a direct X3 to Delorme cable from www.thesupplynet.com. It also comes with a removeable auto charger cable that charges/powers the X3 and keeps the Delorme GPS powered. The Delorme GPS requires external power. They do sell a cradle for it that hold batteries to keep it powered. But the cable solution keeps both PDDA and GPS powerd.
