Axim X3 sound problem

More Dell Axim user are having sound problems with their PDA.
When setting the sound option to "Mute", they hear a "clicking noise" when clicking menus and buttons on the screen.
Dell has no idea what causes this annoing problem and has no fix for it.

I wonder if it is on all or just some of their Axim´s this happens.

If anyone knows a way to fix this problem... please post it here.!

I have an x5 but here a similar noise. I've learned to just ignore it by now.
