Syncing my Contacts with my PC's Outlook Contacts

How can I sync my Contacts on my AxinX51v with the contacts in my PC's Outlook?

When your Axim is on the cradle, go to ActiveSync on your desktop. Go to Tools-->Options and select the Contacts check box.

BUT ...
Now BT is the fly in the ointment
NOW, at least my Inspiron9200 PC and AximX51v recognize each other. The little Kensington Dongle is flashing, the name of my Axim is displayed on the little ActiveSync window, the name of my PC has appeared on my Axim screen as a new partner,
BUT I get a little message on my PC screen that the connection has failed because my Device (the Axim) has refused the connection.
What might be going on here? I looked on my McAffee Firewall and ActiveSync is listed as an allowed application. Should Kensington, Widcomm or whatever be listed there also? If so, how to get 'em there? I think we are making progress, but the goal post is being moved.AAArg.
