First off, my axim does everything, i really dont know what i would do without it. My longterm memroy for trivial things is non existant, so that where the axim comes in. My days vary as i am a College Student. Computer Science to be exact.
So an example of my day: I start off my day by waking up and checking my axim to see whats on the agenda, it usually has 5 things to remind me off overnight. It keeps a schedule of all my classes, labs, lectures, and Prof appointments for the upcoming weeks. I also plan out my forthcoming weeks for work and confrences and trips out of the city. It also has the semester planned out of Quizes, Tests, Homeworks, and School events for the organization im involved in for SHPE. Back to my day and what it holds for me. I get to school and jot down my work for the class containing notes or hw details, as well as any recording of the lecture that is key. I save it to SD and get on my way to class. I hope on my Blades and go to work with my axim plugged into my head for some goood ol tenacious D. I get to work and take my SD out and put it into my desktop for fast transfer of files i might need. I also IR sync whatever just came up and i start my day at work. While at work the wireless acts up and my axim sometimes turns into a wireless testing tool. When its not doing that it comes with me to go do my rounds for Users needs. When im away from my desk i can also control my desktop remotely to check to see if my DVD Dups are going good and check for the robotic arm to see if it has problems. I also have server drives mapped to my axim for quick access. Unsually i find at least one new use for it a day. So after my day ends at work i head back to my car with the tunes plugged in. When i get into my car my axim is my remote to my car stereo just for qucik unattended non looking access. When i get home i sit outside under the tree outside of my apt and i link to my wireless connection and link to my Enterprise eps or 24 and watch them where its quite and calm.
On the weekend or bordem: Sometimes i take movies on the go for entertainment on the SD.
On the go: when i need directions for out of town or driving, i sync Streets and Trips for maps on where im going.
On the toilet: When there is no new magazines or newspapers, i browse the net.
When im cooking: I bring up cooking directions from my mom in word and follow them to the letter.
With fellow ppc users: I beam files, contacts, and programs that they might find useful or get stuff from them.
At a friends place: I have my PPC programed for thier TV's so i also have conrtol if they dont mind. (hence why i want Consumer IR) Now i need to figure out how to conrtol RF for fans and lights.
(Future upgrades) I want to get a phone with IR to beam Numbers, and i want to get a CF Camera for an all purpose Digital Camera for Parties, get togethers and traveling. Maybe an iRock for MP3's in my car but i want a wired connection, which im trying to find out how i will trick my sony into thinking its an auido connection it can control. That would be cool.
