How the Axim is changing my Daily life

h34r: I want to say that the Axim has improved the way I work at school, home, and work.

Let me start from the beginning. Last Christmas I was working on getting a digital touch screen 10 device remote control. Then I went to Dell.com and noticed the Axim. I was so excited andhappy to see a comparable device to the IPAQ for so much less.

The Axim has provided me the opportunity to not only save money but to have mobile computer technology at my finger tips. I can modify word documents, excel documents, and send email when I find a "hot spot" while roaming the city. Who needs to go home and log in now when you have a Wi-Fi card......

I think that the Axim should be an essential tool for every student from K-Grad school.

I love my Axim. I can not wait to get the next version in 2004

Hi,

I was wondering.. What program do you use for performing the remote control duties.

All that I have found so far is a program for the ipaq. Which runs on my X5 until I try to use it. Then it closes out.

I found the program at Handango.

But I am in the process of using another one because my Axim has this thing with loosing power and data..and I can not find the serial number and they are very very very slow in sending me my serial number. I will keep in touch with you with regards to the new program

I have found my PDA (Dell Axim) indispencable! I have one devise that I can keep track of my home and work calendar, have a calculator, entertain myself for those rare minutes that I find that I don't have something that has to get done, create/work on/take with me drafts of speeches or presentations that I have to give....

In general, it helps organize my life.

The alarm keeps me on task as well.
