First Time

I still remember it.....It was in that day, I was so existied.My Axim would arrived today(thats what Dell told me)They told me that it would arrived between 2.00 to 5.00PM. So it was about 12.55PM I went to a shop to buy some Food then I wen't back to my house, I was suprised becouse I saw a brownish box laying in front of my livingroom table. I pause for a moment thinking it was the Axim.My wholed body was saying "aaaaa!!! it had arrived!!!" But then my brother came to me and said "ok.....I know you'r happy but plss eat somthing before you open the box, you work to hard to get that until you forget to eat!!!"(well that what he said).I eat fastly then quickly open the box, I reliyzed that the box had no design to it and wonderd why and then...."ooo yeah..it's a cheap PDA"(hahhaha).Then I open the box and went digging for the Axim.I first saw two box then I removed them....I saw two books(the manual of course)Then a plastic sheet thingy.And then there it was.......when I first saw it, it was like the whole world stop for a moment(wow).I was so happy!!! I felt inlove with it and when I hold it fo the first time
I tought all the reviewer from ZDnet.Com,Cnet.com,the-gadgeteer.com all exgerated about it's sized becouesd to me it's not that big(well thats before I put the battery :P )

I rechrged it from 2:15 to 4:00 (I think) then when I pull out the stylus,I just realyised: WOW!! it's flat(hahaha).But anyway.. when I pushed the onn button , the Dell logo came out and the couler screen blows all the PDA that I know that had a colour screen.

Well that was my first experinced with the Axim.

When I got my Axim, I thought... "wow, it's not a brick!"

Seriousely, a coworker and I are car-fanatics and compare everything with cars... we both agreed that the Axim looked and felt like a BMW.

After months of visiting the Dell store at the mall, I finally decided to order mine. This was back when it was taking forever for them to ship (does it still?).

I checked the Dell website everyday, watching every step of the way. Finally, one day, I went out to run some errands, and when I came back, I saw a note on the door from UPS. It was a Friday, and the note said they would try again on Monday. I had to sit through a whole weekend knowing it was in town but not in my hands! How horrible! I decided to pick it up at the UPS office. I couldn't wait to get home, so I opened the box as soon as I got in the car.

Finally, it was where it belonged.

You said you saw the Axim at a Dell store at a mall? When did Dell start having stores? Where are they?

They are kiosks and you can go to the dell website and do a search for thier locations.
