My Axim helps with my marriage

It may be laughable, but yes it does. I can now keep with with stocks, emails and IM and not be stuck tied to the PC. I have owned other PDAs but this one has by far been able to a much better job of this than any other PDA I have owned.

So now that I can do this and sit with my wife in the Living room or other rooms and be with her more, she no longer threatens to destroy my PC.

She most certainly does. She's a mechanical engineer who uses Unigraphics at work, daily, to surface sheet metal.

My love for the Axim ...........


Well my love for my Axim is second only to my wife. Actually I take it with me just about every place I go. Like the gorocery store, her scrap booking stores, just to visit my mom. If I do happen to go someplace without it I feel naked without it. The only place I have not taken it is to the beach and to the local amusement park for obvious reason.

I sync my email in the morning and then I sort through emails during the day and scratch out responces and with my wireless nic I can go to the local starbucks and do IM as well.

I also do far more reading of actual books now since I can keep many books on the Axim and I can read what ever suits my needs at the time.

In short the Axim has become like an extra limb that I can still feel it reset when its not attached to me.

The one drawback is people at work think I know everything there is to know about computers of all kind so they just walk up to my desk and start asking me things about their "computer".

I have to tell them well I am sorry but I only have the neatest toys

Funny...my wife thinks I'm on my ax too much! I just keep trying to justify the money I spent on it by using it so much.

It is easier to spend time with her now that I can sit next to her to play on the computer.

I hear you about the fact that people think you know a lot about computers. Same thing happens to me.

Well I was able to get the Axim in this way.

Wife, "What do you need another PDA for you already have 3?"

Me, "Actually I have 4, this will be 5."

Wife, "What???"

Wife, "Ok now tell me why you need a 5th one."

Me, "Well why do you need a 5th set of letter punches for your scrap booking?"

Wife, long pause, "Ok you can get it."
