My Axim Love

My Axim helps me watch my surgery video which I can show to my patients and collegues. It also let me show off color pictures of various eye diseases, over all a multimedia wonder for me.

I use the my Ax to review Power Point presentations prior to making the "real thing". Still using a laptop for the actual presentation.

Yeah, it makes giving the actual presentation great because you can practice with your slides anywhere. Any thoughts on actually using the Axim to give the presentation (via an output card)?

Peterbright, what software program do you use? I'm using the one bundled with the Axim.

I use my Axim at work as an IP Phone (we have most of our city covered in a private wireless network) and as a GIS anc CAD viewer for our system, as well as an emergency 'network repair terminal'.

I use my Axim and my iPaq at home for stargazing, keeping documentation for medieval archery and siege weapons (and some video clips of same) as well as using it as a still camera (I have a camera sleeve for the iPaq, looking at a CF camera for the Axim).

Also riteMail is one of my most used programs - I can send little sketches to myself or others to accompany e-mails or phone calls I send on my regular text mail client.

h34r: I use my Axim as my car stereo. Nothing is better than your own 7-8 hours of music with a 512MB card. Of course it then doubles as a very capable MP3 player. My HP friends are jelous they can't use a cheap (by comparison) CF card. Oh yeah, backup for my Cannon S30 is also nice.

Then my girlfriend loves the simple games.

Yeah, then it's got those other programs... what do they do again? Just kidding.

I use an Irock wireless transmitter attached to the headphone jack in my Axim to listedn to my tunes on the FM radio in the car as well.

Never heard of the wireless transmitter. My friend has an MP3 player that does that. I just looked it up online. Not a bad price, either.
