Toshiba BlueTooth SD Card on Axim X3

Retrieved latest driver software from Toshiba, and the install to my Axim X3 goes well, but once installed and the "BlueTooth Settings" icon is accessed, I consistently get the following message: "An internal processing error has occurred with the Discovery Mode setting." Therefore, I'm not even able to configure it.

I've done a hard re-set and all sorts of things, to no avail. The BlueTooth network card is visible under "Network Adaptors" - and four icons are installed under the BlueTooth program. Three of the four icons depend upon "setting up" the BlueTooth connection to begin with.

Anyone have advice on what to do next? Dell takes no responsibility (of course).
