Bluetooth and Activesync Problems!!

I just a got a D510 laptop. I have activesync 4.1 and a BT enabled axim v51. I've been pulling my hair for the past week trying to figure out how to sync the two together. I have the 350 BT integrated in the laptop. When I create a connection, the BT manager only gives me the option to do a file transfer. When I create an incoming port on the axim, I can do the custom connection on the laptop and i can set com7. My activesync enables com7 but does not create a BT connection. What do I do??????????

and I try to connect via BT on activesync in the device, it says that there are no partnerships with devices that support activesync. Ive tried everything please help

I am having the exact same issue as olver_m and followed Mahstah's well written FAQ already. I too am able to pair, both my devices see each other but when I click on active sync via BT it states there are no partnerships with devices that support activesync, any more ideas?

There are more than one reason why a Bluetooth sync cannot be establish.

Can you verify & post the following settings.

Desktop Bluetooth:
• Incoming Bluetooth COM port: (COM?)

Desktop ActiveSync:
File Menu > Connection Settings...
• Allow connections to one of the following: (Chech/Unchecked).
• COM port: (?????)
Or is this grayed out?
• This computer connects to: (Automatic, etc)

Axim Bluetooth
• Incoming port: (????)
• Did you create this port? (Y/N)

The above information will decide what's next.

Where did you set this COM7?

Are you referring to the Axim's Bluetooth COM7?

Can you provide the following details:
• DESKTOP Incoming Bluetooth COM port: (COM?)

On your DESKTOP ActiveSync:
(File Menu > Connection Settings...)
• Allow connections to one of the following: (Check or Unchecked).
• COM port: (COM?)
Or is this grayed out?
• This computer connects to: (Automatic, etc)

AXIM Bluetooth
• Incoming port: (COM?)
• Is this port created using New Partnership? (Y/N)

The above information will decide the appropriate "fix".

I am pulling my hair out here trying to get this configured. I followed the instructions, I think!, but when trying to connect to the laptop my Axim syas it has not 'partnerships' setup.

Can anyone help. PLEASE..........
