I assumed I was pairing okay since I find the GPS and enter the passkey. The options for BT GPS in the Bluetooth Manager are only Edit, Delete and (greyed out) Set as Hands Free; no CONNECT.
My comm ports are listed in my mapping prog as COMM5:BTUART on COM5, COM7:Active Device and COM7:Bluetooth Serial Port (why 2? is this the prob?).
I'm hoping it's purely a matter of coordinating the correct settings but the "Outgoing COMM7" and "Incoming COMM8" don't seem to help.

Niven,
WHAT IS YOUR POINT?
Enquirer pointed out COM7 (out) & COM8 (in). You've 2 COM7!!!
Your remark "don't seem to help" & directed to Enquirer implied that you're not getting help from Enquirer. Did you pay him to help you?
We don't give advice. We share our experience, hope you'll do the same.
EDIT:
This is a
good example of how users share their experience when the problem is resolved.
