I have successfully been able to use the Toshiba Bluetooth SDIO 2 card on my Axim X3i using Socket's software...NOT Toshiba's software/drivers. The toshiba software makes the Axim go a little nuts when the SD card is inserted. I am now able to surf the web and check emails using my Sony Ericsson T610 Bluetooth phone...using the Thunderhawk Browser, browsing is very nice...unlike the standard pocket i.e. It's one of those rare times where everything just seems to work. Additionally, I did have to enable the "wait for dialtone" option on the Axim's dialing properties to get it to work.

Hi ( dbhrams),
I have an Axim x3i and trying with a Toshiba SD BT card. Installed Toshiba bluetooth cd. After resetting and inserting BT card in the SD slot, no screen popped up. Invoking Blustoth Settings manually gives following error "Canot start communications with the desktop computer. remote networking could not start due to critical error (608).
Uninstalled Toshiba drivers and installed drivers from socket site. Still same issue. Any pointers.
did anybody ever figured this out?
I still have the same sd card and now I'd like to use it with my laptop which has a SD slot, with windows vista, this would be a neat trick, but, I'd still would hope to use it with my x3i.
thanks,
