Direct print from PPC

Hi,

Could anybody help on how to print from PPC. I just got an ordinary HP laser printer with no Bluetooth or Infrared port. I tried the HP mobile printing but unsuccessful.

PPC doesn't have print capabilities. You have to purchase a third party software if you want to print. Also, if you want to enable your printer to print via IR or BT, your printer should be equipt with either IR or BT. There is a BT device that you can attach to your printer, but device should also be BT enabled. There are BT Compact Flash card that are available out there that you can use for the Axim.

I am looking for print software that goes thru activesync I have tried activePrint, no work and an email to tech(actvePrint) with no reply. I have tried others too but no luck. can anybody point me in right direction.

Field software has acouple of printing apps, one for office docs and another that prints from PIE

Print boy is wireless which I don't have the support for. I just want to print text files. But thru ActiveSync to HP printer. I now have to sync then read into Notepad++ to print. Just wanted to eliminate steps. Thanks for your efforts.

To cut out a step when you want to print, simply leave the document in one of the folders in my docments eg; personal. every time you sync it will be updated, and you can print directly from PC. I'm sure that you can print directly to PC/Printer connected to PC if ax is conected through USB, but your network settings and file sharing associations need to be correct, as with any network.

I'm perplexed, I can print with wifi on or off when I'm connected via usb and it must have something to do with how I set up my ax/pc relationship, but I really can't find the settings that I did for it. Something to do with the settings on the PC I think. Network
