Bluetooth
I would, but unless I am blind, I don't see how to create a COM port where I should be able to create one. Is it a miss in L11?
I am i the ''COM Ports'' tab in the Bluetooth Settings menu. There is a blurb at the top telling me ''to set up a COM port tap New Outgoing Port...
There is no such button...

You will not believe
Hey, I have got my WLAN to work !!!
I just installed this application, that was meant to be a fix for WM5 A12.
I have installed this along with L11 and my internet connection works as it should. No need BT.
Download for Wireless LAN (Legacy Products)
So Now, LennySH, can you reverse engineer this application to make it part of L12? it is a trial version and expires in 3 days...

Htcgeeks.com
You'd have to go to Lenny's website for that answer.

Now this is just an assumption because i've never done it, but i would assume that you need to connect to your laptop and setup an outgoing and incoming port on your AX. I don't have my AX with me(i'm at work tonight), so i'm trying to figure this out on my phone.
Tap START.
Tap SETTINGS
Tap CONNECTIONS TAB
Tap CONNECTIONS
Tap MANAGE EXISTING CONNECTIONS
TAP NEW
SELECT BLUETOOTH UNDER "SELECT A MODEM:"
TAP NEXT
TAP ADD NEW DEVICE(This should connect you to your laptop)
This is where you'll have to figure the rest out on your own.
Good luck.

Once again with the modem setup
To utilise the BT connection between laptop and Ax, you have to setup to sync via BT. You need activesync installed on the laptop, and to have already synced the ax via USB. When you pair the ax and the laptop you should be able to select the services to use on the laptop. one of them should be activesync.
It's pretty simple, once you've done this open activesync on the Ax and in menu select connect via bluetooth
Where it says disconnect there, is also where it says connect, had to be synced to get the screenshots The first time you connect you can also select on the PC to always allow this connection, when you input the connection pin. Default pin is always 0000.
For a connection to the net it works, but the range is about 10 meters.

There was also a wifi patch released by dell for the WM5 AO12 rom, you should be able to find reference to it on the site here. Cause 3 days isn't a great alternative to a proper fix. I never had the problem when i had the lenny rom installed, but I went back to the Maaku rom bevause it doesn't have the extras that I don't like in lennys!

Wi-Fi problem solved
I got the file - cracked - from ppcwarez.org.
That Wi-Fi Companion program is really what has debugged my connection problem. And the interface is so much more user-friendly.
I say it is a MUST HAVE, whether you have problems or not.
I've got the 2.10.13 version.
