Question New Profile - Outlook 2007

I had a problem with Outlook 2007 that necessitated creating a new profile and deleting the profile I had been using. When I attempted to sync my X51v to my PC, ActiveSync detected the profile conflict and wouldn't sync. How can I tell my X51v what profile to use? I'm sure that I'm missing something simple.

So have you updated your software? If you've created a profile it should sync to that profile. Try deleting the profile and setting up again. Make sure you have a backup of your PIM info as well, so that you don't lose any info

I'm not sure that I follow you. When I installed Outlook 2007 on my PC, ActiveSync worked fine the next time I used it. When the profile I was using got corrupted, I have to set up a new profile to use Outlook. Apparently ActiveSync is still looking for the original profile and won't sync with the new profile.

So in activesync delete the device profile, this will force activesync to create a new profile for the device/axim which will be like the first time you synced the axim. HTH
