Thanks in advance!

Hi, Blue Jeep. I rebuilt my PC a few months ago (wiped Vista and went back to XP) and lost the Aximusers bookmark - havne't visited for ages...
I've been using the Pure 6.1 version for months and am relatively happy with it. It has quirks - it loses power settings, for example, so the backlight goes off even after I've told it not to. And it has stuff built in that I'd prefer to have loaded myself - TCPMP can't be deleted or upgraded (without wasting memory). It also occasionally hangs and needs a soft reset.
However, overall it's fine. The above are nuisances, no more.

Late last night i found this website. Apparently this person picked up where Football left off. Has anyone used any of these ROMs and are they any good?

Haven't used a lenny rom, but they are rumoured to be good! Th Maaku ROM that Dahawthorne mentioned is what I'm still sporting, Search at XDA Devs!

Well, I loaded Lenny's AO7 ROM of WM 6.1, and can say that so far i'm neither impressed or disappointed. It's just different. I can say that I can't get TOMTOM to work now that i have switched over. But, i'll keep working at it.

Ok, I've since flashed to the Lenny 11 ROM of WM 6.1, and i can say that i'm so far very pleased with the results. All of the bluetooth problems that i had before with TOMTOM and GPS Tuner are now resolved. If anyone is interested in these ROMs you can find them at htcgeeks.com.

I keep having problems on my Axim X50v with LennySh 11 test 2 rom however on the test 1 it runs fine. On #2 often I can't turn the display on and I must reboot but if I reset the battery and turn on it says I have a memory error and must press the Contacts button or do a hard reset. Test 2 is much nicer if it wasn't for that error. I use the 0 page pool and it has far less filesys problems even the the available memory is lower. Bluetooth works fine, only problem may be infra red. no real loss.

Oh the LennySH rom, adds too much crapware and doesn't compliment my already installed programs, tried the latest for two weeks and flashed back to the Maaku rom. If freeware is included in a rom tou want to be able to get rid of it if you want to without going all registry/manual uninstall! IMHO

Yes, i would agree with you on that pedah. If Lenny puts out a bare bones ROM or even a Dell based ROM i'll probably switch to one of those.

that's exactly what I'd like to see, although the maaku Rom has some add ons, it doesn't have anything that conflicts with my SPB setup
