Help! Cant Sync X51 W/ Active Sync 4.5

HELP! SMART Axim people everywhere-- I'm DESPERATE for any assistance. When my HP Pavillion crashed after it installed Service Pack 3, I had to re-install all my programs. At first, I tried to install ActiveSync 4.0 but I got relocation memory error messages, so I installed ActiveSync 4.5 and the Windows Mobile 5.0 CD that came w/ my Axim. Whenever I try to sync my Axim w/ my desktop, the green circle swirls and acts like it is synching. Synch message says it is complete. However NO data transfers to the desktop and it remains on my Axim. What gives?

I've already tried removing and reinstalling ActiveSync 4.5, tried turning off my firewall. I made sure to check "synchronize all PC's using this connection" on my Axim.

When I first connected the Axim to the desktop, I got a message that it can only synch to another pre-existing computer (which was the same computer pre-crash). So I created a new desktop name. I only store calendar, contacts and notes on my Axim. I keep it simple. No media files on this.

Any ideas? I've been writing appointments on sticky notes and I'm going CRAZYYYYY!! THANKS

With sp3 you may have to switch over to Windows Mobile device center, which you can download from the web for free.

It may just be your ActiveStink settings, have a look at the settings for your PC when connected!
