X51V Intermittently shows no battery/low battery

hi,ive recently bought myself a X51v and flashed it to windows mobile 6. im generally very happy with the pda, much faster than my previous hp one. The problem is when i set the ppc doing something that requres a lot of processing power eg i opened tomtom from rescofile explorer whilst playing an mp3 i get a message up saying that the main battery is low, even though it isnt. when i go into the power page in the settings it shows Main Battery: None, after about 10 minutes the correct battery status comes back and all appears well,

this isnt a problem but last night it came up that the battery is so low it is going to enter sleep mode in 10 seconds, which crashed the machine (and this would be no good if in a satnav app etc)
upon soft resetting the correct battery status always comes back.

i'll be testing it with the proper dell battery tonight (im currently using an extended 3200mah battery) although im sure ive had it do this with the dell battery too.

i used to get the battery latch message quite often but after following the advice of some people on here its been fine since, wondering if it could be related though?

Which release of Mobile 6 did you put on the unit? It sounds like an OS issue you may have found, as most people wouldn't try to tax their system with mp3s, third party explorers, and satnav simultaneously. You could try the WM 6.1 release and see if that fixes it.
