Cannot connect to home wireless w/ WPA-TKIP

My Axim X51v detects my home network, but is stuck on "connecting". Any ideas what might be wrong;
- Security settings are Super G (mixed mode), WPA (enhanced), TKIP-personal
- If I enter the wrong encryption key on purpose during connection attempts, the Ax tells me the key is incorrect.
- If I turn off security, it connects fine
- It connects at resturants and hotels fine.

What rom are you running? The AX won't recongnize WPA2 that may be your problem. Check this post it may be the same problem as yours.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm using WM5, Linksys router, Windows XP and plain vanilla WPA.

I think i'm using the same router that you are. Is it white and has a blue window in the middle with lights representing the antenna? If so try setting it to B mode only and see what happens. I'll check mine and see how i have mine set up, and get back to you.

UPDATE:
Ok i checked and i'm using a Netgear 108mbps set at AUTO, which means it works on both b and g and automatically ramp up to 108mbps if it dectects a device that will run at that rate. Hope this helps.
