How much memory can x51v support

Ah, but I've been running Football's A03 RTM for about three months without problems.
I've been scouring the web for news on whether WM6 A03 definitely supports SDHC - and yet even in this specialist forum there is no definitive answer...
Am I going to have to be the guinea pig? Surely *somebody* out there has had a go and can tell us yes or no whether a 16GB SDHC works?

I've read many accounts over at XDA Developer's forum that say SDHC does work. At worst, you can resell it on ebay or craigslist if it doesn't.

Thanks, Mahstah. I'll see how the 32GB CF goes first, and if I manage to fill it I'll risk the SDHC.

Does anyone know if simply copying all the files from my current 8GB CF to the new 32GB CF will still let all the apps run? Or will they be confused by the change of size? I don't particularly want to have to reinstall a lot of apps - Tomtom, for example, insists on scattering stuff around, leaving bits on the SD & CF even though I installed to main memory with only the SD inserted...

Well, I don't believe it. I got the 32GB CF, copied the stuff from the 8GB on to it, and then started copying films & TV programmes. "Insufficient space". It's true what they say - think of how much you think you'll need and then double it.
But the card is absolutely fine - just over 30GB showing.
Maybe I need to investigate the SDHC 16GB - but I really would like to know if someone has already tried it before I commit... Anyone?
An as to my final comment above - just copying the files across doesn't seem to have upset anything - everytjing still seems to work ok.

Anyone interested in whether a 16GB SDHC works? Yes, it does. Axim X51v, Football A03-RTM. Full capacity reported and usable.

I see that Play.com have a 32GB SDHC for £65 (UK sterling).

I found this comment on Which Version of the Complete System? :

I appear to be answering my own question as I research... but maybe the forum will find it of some interest.
