i need to buy a CF card for my Dell Axim X51V. heard certain ones like SDHD ones don't work. don't want to buy the wrong one on ebay & then be stuck w/ re-selling it.

Does anyone have one of these and know if they work on the PDA?

Yes, I've had one of these for about a year and it works absolutely fine. I bought mine from eBay, and interestingly had an email from another buyer saying that it looked like a possible fake - there were irregularities in the packaging pictures (text in the wrong place or different colours). I have no idea if this is fake or not, but it has never given me any problems, holds a lot of stuff, and streams data fast enough to make watching TV programmes a pleasure.

just out of curiosity, how much did you guys pay for it? I think the $106 w/ tax on that ebay auction seems reasonable...considering I almost paid $96 for a Kingston 8gb CF (and I think SD is superior to Kingston when it comes to this kind of stuff).

I paid $130 australian, don't know how that converts!

I think I paid about £90 sterling, which was in those days about $160-170.

What about this one on eBay? From USA, 32GB, and I've seen comments on various websites saying that it works with the X51v.

That's a good find Da, in theory you should be able to use a CF card formatted FAT 32 up to about 137 Gb, and that limitation only comes from problems in the windows file system itself but I think that may be big enough Don't you
