X51v Bluetooth Connection Issues
Hi there. I've got 2 Axim X51v's. Identical in age, and software packages. We use them with bluetooth connected RFID scanners. The one axim works relatively flawlessly, while the other always has issues connecting bluetooth to the scanner. It doesn't matter which scanner either. The good axim can pick up either scanner effortlessly, while the bad one has a hard time. Often it has to be powered up for 5 to 15 minutes for it to pick up on the scanner. If the connection is lost/disabled, then it's a crapshoot to get it back again.
A hard reset has been performed on the axim, and I've gone through it with tech support of the company that makes the program we use. They have hundreds of axim/RFID scanner combos out there, and they haven't seen the issue before.
Anybody have some ideas of what to do? Settings, registry, etc?
