Axim x51v Hard Reset Issue

I recently purchased a open box x51v. When I tried to upgrade the A06 Rom to the Dell A12 rom I became aware of a Hard Reset issue. Every time I attempt to do a hard reset, even when not trying to load the new rom, the screen that allows clearing memory after pushing the reset button and the on-off key, flys by the screen not even allowing me to finish the reset by clearing the memory.

The AXIM I purchased was under warranty when I bought it, but the warranty magically disappeared when I transfered it to my name through the Dell website.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Your best bet is to do the SD card install of the AO12 ROM. There's plenty of information in this forum if you look in the right places. Good Luck.
