Hard reset

i cannot hard reset any more, after on pressing button and reset it keep going back to dell screen without stoping at the option menu ( to choose between hard reset or not)

anyone can help?

You could try the SD flash method of restoring the ROM. Past that, the unit may be faulty.

ahhl has this happened after trying to apply the WM6 upgrade?

no, i have this intermitten problem, the active sync cannot stop. even with force termination. so i always hard reset (soft reset wont work) and reinstall back my back-up program. now i cannot hard reset.

wanted to put in wm6, but would like to wait for the final version. main problem i can see with wm6 is the vga against qvga driver. donno what going to happen if i install.

The only alternative to an Sd flash may be to try a soft reset at the Dell screen hang, and then to Hard reset again. See this thread

tried that many-many times but didn't work...

last attempt...i re install a02 without hard reset ...and it works...

tested with hard reset and it works
