Hard Reset Problems

I've come to the point where I have to do a hard reset. The Dell recommendations don't work. I get a flash of the hard reset screen and it continues to load.

Has anyone found a work around short of sending the thing back to Dell?

Have you tried flashing the ROM? If it won't let you using the desktop install method you could try the SD bootloader (Domme) method.
