Hard Reset not working

I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. For some reason whenever I try to hard reset my X51, the window to confirm the reset dissappears faster then I can hit the contact button to confirm it. Several people have tried to get the hard reset to work but no one has had any luck.

Specs:
Dell Axim X51
Intel PXA270
Processor Speed 520 MHz
Rom Verison A03

Hopefully someone might be able to help me with this issue

when you do a hard reset there's nothing left on ax. Storage card info is still there but not associated with reset axim.
When you try to hard reset do you get a fresh axim with nothing on it when you restart it{it restarts} check patch updates and update rom, it may help. Use search here to find latest rom version for your ax.

Pedah is right you should update your ROM. A12 will make your ax run smoother, faster, and longer. Here are the links to update your ROM.

SImple thought from a simple person, to do a hard reset you must hold stylus on reset button on back of ax and at the same time depress power button, it says simultaenously is it possible that you have depressed them one after the other.
