Exclamation Havin some issues with replacement Axim - Can anyone help?

Alright, I got a replacement for my x51v Aim a couple weeks ago and it has worked fine up until recently - here are the problems:
1: Battery power is being used much faster than normal. In fact, it doesn't give me an accurate battery reading most of the time. It might jump from 85% to 72% and then I will look at it later and it will be back up to 80%.
2: I use my Axim as an alarm clock (which is nice). Well, when the alarm goes off on this Axim, it doesn't give me the option of dismissing the alarm. When I do get it to finally stop, the green light is blinking all day. This may be a reason for my next problem.
3: The Axim doesn't tell me if it's charging. Since my battery isn't telling me anything useful, and by my third class of the day I have 35% battery power (so it says), I take my AC cord with me, but when I plug it is, there is no light at all - in fact when I turn it on it doesn't even say it's connected but still running on the battery. However, when I unplug it, let it be for 15 minutes, it will tell me that it charged my battery.
4: My Axim freezes in the wireless config. screen. I have to do a soft reset to fix it.
5. Overall performance is very slow in comparison to the one I had replaced.

It may or may not be significant, but this replacement was a refurb. and came standard with the A12 upgrade (while my other one had A06 or A02 in that area I can't remember).

Sorry to dump it all like that, but if anyone can help, it would much appreciated! Thanks.

With ROM A12 you should not experience any of those problems. The best thing to do is to hard reset and see if the problems exist before you install any programs. If the problems do persist, you should call Dell for another replacement. What you describe is not normal in A12.

Thanks!

Hey - thank you for responding.

I went ahead and did a hard reset and reinstalled the plug-ins/programs I had on it, and so far haven't had any problems at all. Even the notification system lets me turn it off. I'll keep playing with it for a week to see how it handles. Thank you!
