SD Card and CF Card Ratings for x51v
As an Axim User I am always interested in compatibility between the device and removable storage. I expect all here think the same. So I would like to start this thread with the hopes that you will contribute your experiences and your personal rating for all your removable storage devices that are used on your axim x51/x51v. Hopefully with many contributors we will have a reference as to what is the best buy for our specific device.
Rating Scale:
The rating will consist of a maximum 25 points for a more complete review of variables. 25 points being the best and 0 for the worst. The points are broken down as follows:
A) 5 available points for read/write performance
B) 5 available points for quality of material/looks
C) 5 available points for compatibility with other devices
D) 5 available points for reliability/longevity
E) 5 available points for cost vs capacity
Guidelines:
For each of the five sections listed above in bold, (A,B,C,D,and E), choose a rating between 0 and 5, with 5 being the best and 0 being the worst. Enter your results in the post in order as follows:
1) State the name of the Product
2)State the section, (A,B,C,D, or E), followed by your number rating 0 to 5.
3) State the overall score out of 25 from the added data above.
4) Write a quick review
If you have more than one product to enter repeat steps 1) through 4) again.
Please Highlight your overall score and the name of the product in Bold to help users more easily search the thread.
As an example for the layout I will begin with my ratings, but please remember to post your ratings first thing in your reply, before your comments.

Review) Pretty sweet SD card. Fast, but not fastest. Reasonable price but not cheapest. 3 months ownership with no issues. You won't really notice any speed increase while it is attached to your Axim, but you will on your computer. I think this card is considered an 80X speed.

Review) Looks really nice, the case design was well engineered. As for the inside of the case, it causes my x51v to freeze when inserted requiring a soft reset as long as it remains in the SD slot. It works great on my laptop, but as an Axim user its not worth the cost since you will have 0 usable storage on your Axim for the cost.
Kingston 2GB SD Standard

Review) Looks nice but not as nice as the two above. There is no noticable speed difference when inserted to your SD slot. The only time you'll notice a slight drop in speed is on your laptop when you are writing large media files on the SD card. Overall it is very responsive on my Axim. Works on all my SD devices. Currently priced at $18.99 on newegg. Tons of bang for the buck.

Review) You can really notice an increase in response time with this card, fast. The cost is a bit high when compared to its SD competition, but with the mail-in rebate offered on newegg its worth it, price after rebate is around $24.

Review) Good performance and reliability. Cost vs Capacity is a little high when you can get twice the storage for a buck cheaper. But $19.99 is still cheap.

Review) Quality card, performes nice. Way too much cost vs capacity.

Review) Well it works in a computer, but is slow. It will cause your Axim to freeze. As for the cost, there isn't a 128MB card out there that can compete when Kingston offers their 1GB SD Card for $5.99 on newegg
