"HOME" application - I want my "screen" icon back!

Ok - was trying to clean up my "home" application a bit .
this is the application manager thingy that you get to by either

• start | programs | Home, OR
• alternatively , by pressing the 4th button on the front of the x51v.

Anyway, I deleted the icon for "screen", which is normally listed under "system".

How do I get this back? I searched \windows\ for any .exe or shortcut file I could use to re-establish this icon. But no luck finding anything there.

Any suggestions? I would like to have that back so that I can change the screen to landscape more quickly without going through lots of screen taps.

Not sure how to get the icon back less hard resetting because the screen function isn't an exe or a lnk file, the two main types allowed to be added to the Home screen.

However, the best way to switch between landscape and portrait is to assign the little used record button to switch modes. Go to Start-->Settings-->Buttons and assign button 5 to [rotate screen right]. Now pressing that button will switch between portrait and landscape.

But I could only notice one possible setting , the one that says "rotate screen". I personally like to have it rotate right, which it does. But just curious - I don't see any way to select "rotate left", so I guess this is not possible , eh?

Good for lefties, like me, but maybe not great for right-handed people.

Pocket Plus is what I consider an essential app for every PDA. It adds lots of features that should have been included with the OS as well as a very useful today screen plugin.

Agreed. I purchased that as well as the Resco Explorer (for the regedit ability).

Are there a couple other apps you consider essential for the mobile IT manager?

I bought Resco Explorer too for its better explorer and regedit. For an IT manager, I'd suggest VxUtil, ministumbler or hitchhiker, and PocketLAN.
