and so far, can't tell that there is any difference in function of the switcher bar.

wonder what the "external microphone recording issue" was?

We were hoping for the WLAN 'about' screen which shows the ROM/software versions for the wifi. Thanks though!

yeah, sorry I'm a knucklehead. was hoping the "swithcher" update would bring me something new, so I couldn't hold back. From what I can tell, there's no visible difference though.

Can some one clarify, I should install this patch "R142389.EXE" as well as the Colorado patch (R139###.exe I think)? Also, if I do need to, I installed the Colorado fix on to my SD Card, simple reason being I did not know where else to put it. Is this OK?

If I've got new axim, says A12 rom I don't need update. humbly. "idiot" humbly.

This rollup package is post A12, so you should install it even if you're at A12. It includes the Colorado patch.

Thanks Mruf_mk, if you haven't yet applied the "rolling patch" then it appears that there's no change in sw/fw version numbers after the patch is installed.

for that option, I chose Main Memory, thinking that this was a patch to the ROM, which of course is not on your memory cards but on the axim itself.
