AXIM X51 IRDA communication slow!!!
Hello everybody.
This is my first post.
First, i would like to congratulate you for the quality of this site!
But i have a big problem!
I wrote an application using EVC++ which run perfectly on WM2003.(with a PPC Mio)
We buy the Dell X51 PPC, which runs WM5
The IRDA communication (at 115Kbps) is very very slow on this machine, compare to the 'old' Mio under WM2003.
Is it a hardware problems on Axim X51's irda?
Is it due to "non volatile memory" of WM5
I use the A05 Rom (the last one for X51)
I have read that is it NOT possible to downgrade the X51 to WM2003... Is it true?
I have read that it exist a patch that can be downloaded on the aximusers.com download area to solve Irda problems. Where is it ?
I have contact with DELL, but they says ... "don't use irda..." ;o(
Does anyone have meet those kind of problems?
Is there something specific at the Axim X51 model?
Is there a way to solve this problem?
