How to soft reset from the touch screen

I seem to remember a post where some one was doing a soft reset from the touch screen. Using an icon? If someone has the info on how to set this up I'd appreciate it. Tried a search but no luck.

psShutXP is just a little program that allows you to soft reset and completely turn off the PPC with an interface that looks and acts just like the Windows XP one.

I got this in a post here...I haven't tried it but it sounds like what you are looking for....it is in the thread about WI-FI standy probs...

was it you who had a shortcut icon on your pda desktop to do a soft reset? Could you post or send me how you created this.

That's me. Here is the link to soft "Reset.exe".

You can copy it to your external storage, i.e. CF Card, and execute it directly or put it in the Program group using a link file/shortcut.

I find it convenient using it because my X51v is "boxed up" in the aluminum case; less wear and tear on the reset switch in the rear too.

You can also use PHM PPC Powertoys, a free collection of system utilities that include soft reset, suspend, tray launch, and others. It works with all PPC OSs.

Pocket Plus performs the procedures pertinent to the post as well, along with a plethora of other pedantic processes.
