Bt ActiveSync Problems

The info from Mahstuh was excellent. However, my axim x51v still would not communicate using bluetooth with my laptop ... until, after many attempts to follow the user's guide and guidelines from Mahstuh, I finally gave up. I followed another's suggestion and performed a hard reset to factory settings.

Now my PDA and laptop communicate using activesync 4.1, but with the new problem that all data from outlook on the laptop will not transfer over to the axim. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm unpleasantly surprised to have dell tech support they don't provide any for such issues. Thank you, in advance, Intruder

You're right, Dell only support their hardware issues.

You mentioned that all Outlook data will not transfer over to the Axim. Do you mean that you cannot sync at all? Not even task, except that you can use Explore, & Add/Remove programs?

How's your partnership? Can you still use your original name or do you have to create a new one?

It's difficult to offer assistance even over the phone. If you can expand on the ActiveSync issues, we'll see what we can do.
