Brand New Dell X51V from Dell for $289 + $8 Shipping

I just ordered a x51v from dell with a rhinoskin alum hard case and came out to be $300.21 shipped (includes cali tax). The link is http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...9&oc=X51416_D1

The price you see is $349. Scroll down and uncheck the two games and the price will drops down too $289 + $8 shipping (tax depends on what state u live in). A rhinoskin silicon case for $22 is included but can be cancelled with a call to Dell after the order has been made. What I did is order the rhinoskin extended (batt) (check the box) aluminum case (if you plan on using a exteneded batt, make sure you get a cases the fits it) then went to the checkout page where it says your total and look for apply coupon box. Then went to ebay and look for the "dell $35 off $300 coupon" (yes it works) it will cost you $2 at the most and you'll get it in a few minutes. Apply it (apply coupon box) and the price drops (mine to $321.25) Then i called dell and cancelled the rhinoskin silicon case and my final price is $300.21 (shipping and tax included and 1 yr warranty).
If your total which ever accesorreies you add on or not has to be over $300 to use the dell coupon, if it does not don't bother getting it from ebay.

Hope this helps you......its the best deal you'll find for a brand new Dell x51v 624mgz fully loaded and 1yr warranty.

PS. The audible.com option i don't understand (under system options) you may want to check on it. I don't think you can get an extra $100 off.

Did you ask for the ROM A08 installed? I think it may be available to corporate users only.

Word on the streets is it's a test deployment for corporate guinea pigs.

Apparently it's not release for upgrade yet. Not everyone who ordered/received lately it has the A08 ROM.

I saw one with ROM A08 dated 290306. The OS build is still 144110.1.1.3.

Like the rest, I'd like the update before my 1 year anniversary expired.

Well, Dell got wise to this deal (even though it was their own deal) and now do NOT offer unchecking the games that came with the package.

It is true , Dell did modifiy the site and no longer offer the deal for $289. BUMMER
