Unable to delete file - HELP!!

I have a huge recording file that I am unable to delete. Each time I try, I get the error message: "Error Deleting File: Cannot delete Recording1: There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use."

PLEASE can someone tell me how to delete this file which was made in error. It is huge, currently using up all of my storage memory. The file itself is 188MB.

Try closing the program that uses/runs the "recording" file. Go to:

Start > Settings > System > Memory > Running Programs.

Select the program and Stop it.

Next delete the "recording" file.

Thanks i had same issue.
I also had to hold down on the recording file for a few seconds for the delete option to pop up
