Problems Installing Haicom HI-303MMF GPS

I am hoping for some helpful advice installing a Haicom GPS Model Number: HI - 303MMF utilizing the compact flash slot and running the iGuidance software on my Axim X51V. I have been able to get the program and receiver to run for a short period of time but has locked up repetitively with in just a few minutes. I have tried numerous configurations with no success in correcting this problem. I have tried numerous options with the GPS settings on both the Programs Tab as well as the Hardware Tab. I would appreciate any input in getting this set up correctly.
