Holux 270U

'm new to axim and gps so need a little help please.
I have x51v and just got a Holux 270u but I can't get the two to work together.
having down loaded drivers, I find that going thro' scan will some times find a coms port but not other times. when it finds the gps comport & I open the gps, I get the message 'cant open coms port'.

Is there an issue with WM5 and the Holux 270U and if so is there a patch or fix?

Make sure you have disabled autoconfiguration options for GPS in your settings.

What software are you using?

I have just tried disabling autoconfiguration but there was no change.
As to software, I'm using WM5. As yet I havn't loaded Tom Tom 5 as I don't believe I have too until I get the GPS connected?

What ROM revision are you using? Update to A06 if it's anything otherwise. Have you created an outgoing port and configured the BT device to act as a serial port?

Personally, I would load TT5 first and get that working. Just make sure that you have TT5.2 as earlier versions do not work with WM5 and the X51
