Autosync starting automatically after fake exchange server fix

Does anyone know whether the change to manual on the autosync schedule menu is reset the first time that you plug into the cradle. I did the fake exchange server fix and that cured my battery discharging problems but I did not expect the synchronization to occur automatically the next time that I plugged the unit into the cradle. It synchronized every five minute while in the cradle. Does this mean that I have to redo the fix after every synchronization? Any help would be much appreciated.

The trick fixed weird problems. Its unusual to see your settings changed.

In your desktop ActiveSync, there's a sync option that allow you to choose how often you want to sync. You only have to change it once & ActiveSync will remember it the next time you sync.

If you're running WM5, you should download ActiveSync 4.1.

I do have ActiveSync 4.1. I have been monitoring the battery level since yesterday and it looks like once out of the cradle ActiveSync is no longer trying to sync up so I was probably premature in thinking that I was back to the original problem. Thanks for the response, Lol
