Also getting really frustrated, as i know my post isnt too clear, but its the best I can do, since Im more confused than a chicken that Laid a Ballbearing.
I cannot find ANY step by step guide on the net on how to set up BT GPRS with the Axim51v and TomTom
(found great one on Activesync and BT on a link on these very forums )

Your EDIT/DELETE options means you have not established partnership.
Follow Mahstah's advice above. Delete the incorrect partnership, & pair again.
Ignore the GPS configuration that I gave you bcos there were based on wrong info provided.
After you've paired the devices, start the GPS utility software (TomTom).
It should connect without having to do anything else. Leave settings to factory default.
Make sure you have the port set up properly in the GPS utility software (TomTom):
COM port set to 7.
Baud rate: Check your manual (4800/38400/57600)
Good luck.

From the first post, I thought we were talking about a GPRS card (General Packet Radio Service), a cell phone internet connection card and not a GPS.
In the Edit option in your BT devices tab, is there Serial Port available as a service option? You need to have your GPS device set as a serial port. If this option is not available, delete and pair the BT GPS again, making sure to enable the secure option with a passcode if your BT-77 has one. Make the device discoverable while you pair, it helps for some devices.

Sorry I wasnt clear in my original post.
Yea, its exactly what I have done, and now just did again.
Here are the step by step actions I took to pair devices.
Bluetooth >> Settings >> Mode>> Turn on Bluetooth
Bluetooth >> Settings >> Mode>> Make this device discouverable to other
devices
Bluetooth >> Settings >> Devices>> New Partnership >> Searching found BT GPS
Click on BT GPS >> Next >> Passkey 0000 (default of manufacturer >> Next
Display Name BT GPS >> Select services to use from this device >> Serial Port >> Finish
Now the Partmnership shows up in the Devices List
Tap and hold BT GPS all I get is Edit, Delete, Set as hands free.
Same goes for all the other items I paired.. my phone, my PC, my sisters phone... you get the Idea

OK, the Serial Port option in the services available for the device is good.
The hands free option is only available if you're connecting to a headset.
How is your outgoing port configured now?

Sup3rc0w,
If you have a BT-77 GPS receiver, TomTom, & trying to make them work with your phone, check this out:
http://www.bluetoothgpstips.com/Pair...s_and_pda.html
If paragraph 1 above applies to you, read the sections in the following order:
1. Pairing Bluetooth GPS Receiver and Pda
2. Configure Pda, BT77 Bluetooth GPS and TomTom
3. Identify Outbound Bluetooth Serial Com Port
4. Setting up Nokia 6630, Tomtom Mobile 5 and a Bluetooth GPS
You'll learn how to configure BT devices, GPS, TomTom ... lots of mages.

Supercow,
Now that you've set your outgoing com port as COM7, use it in TomTom.
Go to TomTom:
Change preferences icon/Show GPS status icon/Configure/.
• Select your Outgoing Bluetooth serial port (COM 7).
• Select your baud rate.
If you see some bars, that's good ... you are connected.

Not quite yet
From all the options, the one Im assuming is my Bt-77 , is the " Other Bluetooth GPS"... when i press select, i get "PLease pair your GPS and your PDA/smartphone .. blah blah blah... and i press continue.
The the following appears
Native IR:
Com3
BT UART on COM5
Serial Cable on COM1
No matter which of these options i click on, it just takes me back to the GPS status screen thingy.
I read on some other forums (might be these not too sure) that another guy also had BT-77 GPS and had to select " Other Cable NMEA GPS". When i select that option, it does in fact ask my Baud rate (9600) ... and when i come to click on any of the options there, same happens (cant actually tell tomtom which com port to use)
ps: forgot to mention, yes i indeed still have a question mark in front of my BT Gps icon in BT devices list

I too have a question mark in front of my BT GPS but it works fine.
I'm wondering if there is a compatibility issue with the X51 and BT-77.
You seem to have configured the correct options.
Where is Drifter, he uses TomTom on a bunch of PPCs...

Hi Sup3rc0w,
Let's try again. Make sure BLUE LIGHT is flashing.
All your settings looks fine, but you need to define your Outgoing Bluetooth serial com port (COM7) in TomTom.
Since you've no luck w/ "Other Bluetooth GPS", try "Other cable NMEA GPS".
In TomTom
1. Select "Change preferences" icon.
2. Go to the "Show GPS status" icon.
Select it.
3. Select Configure.
4. Select "Other cable NMEA GPS".
5. Select your outgoing bluetooth serial port: COM 7.
Baud rate: 9600
TomTom will take you back to the GPS status screen.
If you see BLUE BARS .... enjoy.
If you see GREY ones ... wait l0 seconds, it may be trying to acquire data.
If no joy, post here:
• TomTom ver (you may need update).
• BT/GPS device model, etc.
• Whatever you think is helpful to help troubleshoot.
Good luck.
