Any DVD recommendations?

I've seen other programs - IPod, etc. - which compress (MP4) a DVD to run on their hardware.
Is there a program out there where I can put a DVD I made and have it converted/compressed to sync and run with my Axim X51V?
MP4 files aren't supported with Windows Media Player 10. I did use a program which converted my inserted DVD to MP4. It ran in Real Player just fine, but not WMP 10.

While I'm at it.......any recommendations for an FTP program that will work with the X51V?

Pocket DVD Studio ($39) certifies Windows Mobile 5 compatibility.

If you still have the compression program you speak of, you could use that and play the video in TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player, $0).

I used DVD to Pocket PC with my X30 and it worked great, but have not tried it with my X51v. Many more exist. Check PocketGear and Handango for other options.

For FTP, NeoFTP (req's .NET Compact Framework) and Orneta FTP are two freeware solutions that run on Windows Mobile 5.

.NET Compact Framework is a runtime environment for programs written in .NET. Its function is similar to the Java runtime environment, flash, or Shockwave- each is a "player" for the software written in their respective programming languages. Many XP and PPC programs are written in .NET, it's a highly functional program on both platforms.
