CF Wireless Card Not Recognized

I just got the Axim x51 and I bought the Socketcom CF Wireless card from Dell. The problem I am having is I can not get the x51 to install the CF card. I downloaded the drivers from Socketcom and it still did not work. Anyone have any idea's?

Did you download WM5 drivers ??. As you insert the card, the axim should inform you the card is recognised, if it does not, then you have a driver problem.

Does the axim recognise normal CF cards.?

Oned question, is your axim under 21 days old ?, you could always return it for one with WiFi built in

Yes it does recognise normal CF cards, I also have a 1GB CF memery card and it works fine.

You will only know if the file you down load says it is for WM5 and also when the card works.

I suggest you delete the driver program and download the wm5 one again to be sure
