Undelete

I was using my Axim, creating an Excel spreadsheet, when it froze. It was in the built in memory, I was going to save it to compact flash, honestly.

The only way I could see to get re-use of the damn thing, as a soft re-boot did not work, was a hard re-boot.

However, I now cannot find the spreadsheet I was working on, and it would be very difficult to replicate it.

Also all the temporary Internet Files have gone.

I have downloaded to my PC about 6-8 undelete programs and tried running them with the Axim in its cradle, but none of them seem to recognise the Axim.

Can anyone confirm that I will ever be able to undelete this spreadsheet, and where I can find either a cheap undelete program or better still freeware.

Unfortunately fedup, your files in ROM are gone when you hard reset. Undelete programs are generally used on your local hard drive, and hard drives don't work exactly like solid-state memory.

You aren't by chance using WM5 on the X50, are you?
