Frozen in Restart

My Axim x50v is stuck at the restart screen. I push the reset button and it begins the Dell startup screen and the scroll bar boot up reaches ~80% and just stops. I've switched batteries, charged it up all the way, tried to activsync it but it wont sync up due it being stuck in boot screen. I tired a hard reset even tried pressing the power + reset + wireless and/or record. I've removed the SD card and performed these as well. Still didnt work...

It sounds like you have either a corrupted ROM or failed hardware. To determine which it is, you'll need to try to reflash the ROM from SD. You can follow the instructions at AximSite:

If it doesn't work after a reflash the unit is faulty.
