x50v Cradle USB Driver

Hi there,

a friend of mine gave me his old x50v without the installation CD, and I'm bothered because ActiveSync won't sync properly or at all (regardless of the version). I read in the archive of this site that the USB drivers were available in the Download section, but I can't find it!
Could anyone help me? I'm going bananas here....

The drivers for the X50v are included in ActiveSync 4+. Because MS makes the OS and AS, they ensure all WM devices will work with the same drivers. Version 4.2 is recommended. What error message do you get when you try to sync?

I don't get any error message, it just tries to retrieve information for hours and does nothing more. I tried AS 4.5 beta and there's no improvement. I'm starting to worry...
Can I sync it via Bluetooth?

OK, I solved my problem: I went online to AS troubleshooting. It performed a series of tests and came out with four possible issues, one of them being firewall -Sygate- configuration (which is odd because I used the settings given on MS's site). I turned it off and it worked at once!
